The Orbit is a lightweight yet robust grinding and lapping machine for in-shop and on-site repair of damaged valve seats. Suitable for valve sizes 1½"–10" (DN40–DN250), its versatile design makes it ideal for both vertical valves, including gate, globe, parallel slide, check valves and pressure relief valves.
The ORBIT is designed to machine both valve seats and gate valve wedges. It allows both gate valve seats to be machined in a single setup, while the included wedge bracket ensures accurate machining of both wedge faces. The ball joint design provides quick alignment and precise force control, and the mechanically driven orbital grinding head delivers high material removal rates with excellent flatness accuracy.
